Urban Calm 5mins from Hilton Beach

  The apartment is fab and was exactly as I expected. It was my first trip to Tel Aviv and I was a little uncertain by the shabby streets and building the apartment is located in, but quickly learned that this is part of the charm of Tel Aviv. The apartment is spotless, very spacious, very stylish and a great location, 10mins walk from beach and 20mins walk to city centre. Also very good value considering the hotels in the area. It really is 'Urban Calm' and very quiet at night etc, also very safe area and city in general, I stayed in the apartment alone and travelled to and from the apartment at all hours of day and night and always felt safe and comfortable. The apartment is really well equipped and the hosts Gabrielle and her husband are lovely! Would highly recommend and would definitely return!

  We loved our stay in Gabrielle's apartment and can't wait for an opportunity to stay there again. I have stayed in lots of hotels in Tel Aviv and this trumps all of my hotel experiences inc the 5 star ones. The location is ideal - close to the beach and the port but also really easy to get away from the touristy areas and explore the real city. The apartment was really comfortable (I slept in the sofa bed and can testify that it is very comfy!) and well equipped, great bathroom and shower; it feels like being at home. Gabrielle was lovely to deal with - very accessible and responsive. Would really highly recommend.

  Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie hat uns z.B. auch ein günstiges Taxi(viel günstiger als der Normalpreis) zum Flughafen arrangiert. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr individuell und witzig eingerichtet und für 3 Personen auch ausreichend groß. Die Küche bot alle benötigten Kochutensilien. Auch Gewürze oder Dinge wie Honig, Zucker und ähnliches war vorhanden. WLAN/WIFI war kostenlos und wir hatten guten Empfang. Wohnungsübergabe lief sehr gut und ohne Probleme ab. Der Standort der Wohnung ist perfekt, nur wenige Minuten zum Strand (Hilton Beach) und es waren mehrere Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes waren leider Bauarbeiten am Hause, ohne das wir davon informiert worden sind im Vorwege. Um 08:00 Uhr herum wurden wir fast jeden Morgen von Bohrmaschinen und anderen Lärm geweckt. Auch war leider der Balkon nur nach einer Säuberung der Staubschicht zum Frühstücken jeden morgen zu benutzen. Des Weiteren konnten die Bauarbeiter an einigen Stellen in die Wohnung reinschauen. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war eine zu hoch angebrachte Toilettenschüssel.

  We stayed in the lovely apartment of Gabrielle and Dov in a perfect central neighbourhood in Tel Aviv. The communication was great and so was the explaination of how everything works. Very good place to chill and relax. Only thing is that we had to pay a 100 shekels after the beachtowel we borrowed got stolen on the beach (we got 2 smaller ones to replace it). That left us with a bit of a uncomfortable feeling... Ver la respuesta del anfitrión

  Our latest guests had one of our over sized beach towels stolen. (over 6 feet in length.) She replaced it with 2 small bath towels which the lifeguard gave her on the beach (around 4-5 feet in length). For us to replace the towel it costs 150nis here in Tel Aviv and we charged her only 100nis.(17USD$). We gave her back the 2 she wanted to give us as replacements. We pride ourselves in giving a little luxury to the guest with small things like over-sized beach towels. Her replacements were not the same quality or size unfortunately.

  Great Area, Great Place. Right around the corner from the beach - literally a 5 minute walk. Down the street from nice places to eat - and you are heart of Tel Aviv. Location is also good, because you are near the Port. Host is great too - easy to deal with, apartment was clean and ready to go and AC worked!! :)

  The apartment is perfect! Best location: in the center, 5 minutes from the beach and very quite, green street. Apartment is light, spacious and very well-equipped. The building and apartment is very clean. Gabrielle is amazing host, we found everything, what we needed in apartment and even more. We had a great stay!

  Gabrielle was a great host. Very communicative, and hooked us up with some recommendations for the area when we arrived. Apartment was spacious, with central air and good kitchen/living room amenities. Lack of Wi-Fi was a challenge, but all in all a good place to stay in Tel Aviv!
