¡Una experiencia impresionante en Brooklyn!

This place is really amazing!! We were a bit suspicious at first as it sounded a bit too good to be true, but it turned out to be just that great!! We had a friend who could stop by and check the place out(before we decided to book) which we very much appreciated. Both Phil and Brown are very easy-going and friendly people and they are both very interested in getting to know you.They really make an effort to make you feel as comfortable and satisfied with your visit. At the same time you come and go as you want, which was very suitable for us! It's close to metrostop and they have all practical things covered, from computer with internet,printer, access to international calls and both room and bathroom has very high standard! What else to say? When we go back we will definetly contact them to see if they have the room available!

It was a pleasure to spend our week in NYC along with Phillip and Bronwyn. We were very well received, they are generous and available, in summary, they are perfect hosts! The apartment is as fantastic as the photos, our stay in New York was more enjoyable because of them and was undoubtedly been enriched by the experience.

Bronwyn and Phil have certainly raised the bar on airbnb properties! My stay was way too short... the apartment is a close walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, the subway is a very short walk and an extremely quick entry into Manhattan. The apartment itself is seriously fantastic, from the big comfortable bed, to your own bathroom - to the fantastic kitchen - with a great latte to wake up to in the morning! The place is stunning and I cannot rave about it enough. Soo big, so clean, and so very welcoming! Now to the hosts - they are the most welcoming couple. So friendly, helpful and I can't thank them enough for a wonderful stay. I have stayed at a few airbnb apartments over the last few years and this has been hands down MY BEST STAY EVER! To stay at Bron's and Phil's apartment means to experience NYC the best way you can! It is not only the perfect support you receive concerning all questions and needs you might have, but also the warm and friendly atmosphere and the great hospitality of both that make you feel so happy from the moment you step into this place. You smile when you come in and it is really hard to leave. When we think about the beautiful, super-clean and cosy room we had, the really breathtaking and fascinating view out of every window and the perfect care from breakfast until advices for NYC, we are simply honest when we say: It was a wonderful and unique time in Brooklyn. Bron and Phil - together with their cute cat Missy - have shown us how easy and convenient a short trip to NYC can be and how 'home' you can feel in this big city. Thank you so much for everything - it was simply awesome to stay with you!!! :-)

I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay at Bron and Phil's apartment. They have the most wonderful place in an extremely covenant location that was very easy to find upon our first arrival. It is very close to the subway which makes it easy to venture into Manhattan or further into Brooklyn (we did both in our short one night stay!) The place is super clean and the bed is very comfortable. Fresh towels were left on our bed and the bathroom is stocked with lotions, shampoo, conditioner and anything else you could possibly need. And the view...it really couldn't be better! You can see the entire city skyline and Phil let us use his binoculars that helped us see people on the Empire State Building!! As we only stayed one night so we did not get to meet Bron as she was out of town but I can say that Phil was a wonderful host! He was so quiet in the morning that we couldn't even hear him as we slept in. When we woke up he got us coffee, tea, bagels and jam. He is a wonderful person, very easy and fun to talk to! He suggested we go see the 911 Memorial before we departed and showed us how to get tickets and even helped us print them at the apartment! Oh and Missy their cat is a sweetheart who loves to have her picture taken :) If you're looking for a relaxing place to rest your head after a busy day in the city this is definitely the place you want to stay! We are hoping to come back again soon for another visit!

This was our first time that we used airbnb so we didn't knew how it was going to be, but Bronwyn and Phil were the perfect hosts for us. We felt immediately at home. They are very open and gave us a lot of good advice. When we arrived from Belgium we were very hungry/tired and didn't felt like searching for a good place to eat so Phil pointed us to a good Mexican restaurant. You sleep in a big room with an amazing view and you have your own bathroom. Everything is very clean and it feels personal. The living room has an incredible view, you can sit there for hours and look at the city without being bored. In the morning you can enjoy a very good coffee from the Nespresso machine. That's very nice and their cat Missy let you really feel like home. Airbnb was such a good experience, we will use it again. And if we go back to NY (what we certainly will do) we would like to stay with Brownyn and Phil again (even if there wasn't such an amazing view).

The view from Bronwyn & Phil's apartment is incredible - you can see the full skyline of Manhattan and beyond. Stay here & you don't need to do any of the sights - they're right there for you, for free! They made us feel right at home in their lovely apartment. It's beautifully clean, warm, cosy and airy, and in the perfect position to enjoy both Manhattan and Brooklyn (a welcome relief to the madness of the centre!). The whole experience was extremely easy & they were both very helpful & accommodating to our needs. Will definitely go back.. but stay for longer this time! Thanks so much, D&J

Phil and Bron are more than perfect hosts; they are a generous, down-to-earth couple who I now consider to be my friends. They truly epitomise what is so great about Airbnb and I feel so fortunate to have been their guests during my first week in NYC. Phil and Bron went above and beyond to make my stay one that I will never forget. For example, my flight into NYC was delayed to land just before midnight, and to top it off, my luggage was lost somewhere on the other side of the country. Yet I arrived at Phil and Bron’s to find that they had waited up to greet me and even had a fresh set of clothes for me to wear until my luggage arrived 24 hours later. The five-star treatment continued for the remainder of my stay as Phil and Bron were always there to answer any questions, provide loads of tips, share meals and delicious cocktails, and let me use everything in their apartment as if it were my own. Better still, Bron even joined me on a rare day off from work to walk the city and show me some of her favourite neighbourhoods. As far as the apartment goes, you would honestly struggle to find a more incredible view of New York from even the most expensive hotels. The photos posted above don’t even do justice to the jaw dropping view of the Big Apple’s famous skyline and iconic landmarks. Now just imagine taking in this view every single morning and night while sipping a freshly brewed Italian-style latte in the living room. It just doesn’t get any better. Phil and Bron - I’ll never forget this wonderful experience and I can't wait to stay with you again one day!

Thanks to Bron & Phil for the great week we had in NYC! -Even if everyone else mentioned it before, we have to say it again: THE VIEW! The view is really amazing! Though, we had some foggy mornings, every single day the sun came out around early midday and we had really great days after some nespresso latté! -Only the wide screen TV in the living room took the breathtaking view of Manhattan whilst sipping the coffee on the comfortable couch. ;-P Bron & Phil are great hosts who really take care of their guests and being highly helpful and respectful. -Phil always had a lot of good tips for us and we enjoyed the relaxed nature of Bron. They were fun to spend time with, unfortunately we didn't manage to go out for dinner with them, although we all four tried it hard... The room was very clean, 100% as can be seen on the photos and the computer + printer was very helpful for booking online tickets for museums and attractions, which allowed us to skip several lines and save a lot of time. The bed is quite big and even though it's an inflatable bed, it's surprisingly very comfortable! The flat is extremely well connected to public transport. Within a 5 min walk one can reach nearly every metro line driving from south to north through Manhattan. From JFK it took us about an hour from the terminal to the apartment with air and A train. Even walking from the apartment to Big Apple over the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge is possible and definitely worthwhile. Summing up our fantastic week in NYC with Bron & Phil, we highly recommend staying at their place. -You won't regret this! Thank you Bron & Phil! Maybe we'll see us again in Berlin some time!

There are many reasons why A Breathtaking Brooklyn Experience ranks as one of New York’s best on AirBnB. As a first time guest you can be forgiven for being blown away by all of the ‘standard’ features of this listing: the ridiculous Manhattan skyline views, the spacious bedroom with your own bathroom, the fresh brewed coffee, super-fast wifi, cable TV, the value-for-money and the adorable Missy the cat (plus heaps more). But what really made this the best possible introduction to New York City was Phil and Bron, the gracious hosts who hail from our homeland, Australia. From late night check-ins to advice on where to go (and not to go) around this big city, nothing was too much to ask. In fact, the experience was so memorable that we have already booked another stay. And I can tell you know that we are counting down the days because it doesn’t get any better than this. If we could rank them higher than 5 out of 5, we would.

Hello I have known Phil since high school in Australia although he was actually in my brother's year. We have kept in touch over the years due to our shared love of travel - South America, Europe, Asia...although they put my backpacking to shame as Phil and Bronwyn both do a lot of exploring by bicycle (I can only imagine some of the adventures that they have had!). Keeping in contact is made even easier now with good old (website hidden) and in January we were lucky enough to visit New York and stayed in their amazing apartment. Given it must have been about 15 years since we had seen each other it was brilliant that it was so easy and fun to stay with them. This was the first time that I met Bronwyn and she and Phil were lovely hosts. The flat is super clean, bed comfortable, locality great and views are as amazing as everyone says - I loved the walk over Brooklyn Bridge (makes a stay in Brooklyn even better). On our first day we visited Ground Zero with Phil and he gave us a personal tour of Lower Manhattan to show us some of the sights. Later in the week we also all went out to an amazing local tapas restaurant and had one of the best meals ever (helped down with a few glasses of Sangria)! I would definitely recommend both Phil and Bronwyn as hosts and their apartment as a place to stay. You will not be disappointed and we would love to go back (maybe not in winter again as it was -9 degrees brrrrrr!)

I rented a room in Phil and Bron's awesome apartment over the summer of 2011. The first thing that hit me was the incredible view of Manhattan, the river , the bridges, Brooklyn...it took my breath away! The apartment is very modern, specious and clean - I felt like I was in a hotel. I had my own room with a big, comfortable bed as well as cupboard space and a spectacular view. Having my own bathroom was an added bonus. It was super easy to get to the apartment. The subway is a five minute walk down the road and in two stops I was at Union Square in midtown. When I was feeling energetic I would walk from the apartment over the Brooklyn Bridge and up to SoHo or the Lower East Side. Bron and Phil were fantastic hosts and did everything they could to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable. They gave me space to do my own thing but were always happy to hang out when I was looking for some company. They're a down to earth, genuine couple - a pleasure to live with. I arrived as an acquaintance and left as a friend. I can't recommend this apartment and these hosts enough!
