“I've known Andree for twenty years as a friend and now our kids are best friends. She has designed and built her home by revamping an old community building in a lovely neighborhood of Boston, Jamaica Plain. Her home is warm, easy going, relaxed, clean, and ecofriendly. The room she is making available for people to stay has high ceilings, a desk for writing letters, a kitchen for tea and breakfast, and its own entrance and bathroom with shower. If I was going to stay in an airbnb in Boston, I'd definately appreciate the privacy, but also Andree's willingness to help out with directions, maps, etc. as needed. Best to go in the summer months, when Andree's urban garden produces tons of delicious tomatoes, strawberries, lettuce, etc., all available for your taking. Learn about what its like to live in a zero carbon home, be a homesteader with kids, and be an urban farmer. I share some space in her garden, so strictly speaking it can be called a community garden, tho to be fair, Andree does most of the heavy lifting with watering etc. Enjoy your stay!!!”
